How to Grant Camera Permissions

If you find yourself unable to verify your identity in Chrome because of camera permissions, typically these are the steps to take to fix this issue on Android:

Enable the Camera in your Phone Settings:

• Open your phone's Settings app
• Tap on Apps (or Apps & notifications)
• Find and tap on Chrome
• Tap on Permissions
• Tap on Camera
• Choose "Allow only while using the app."

Then Enable the Camera in Chrome Site Settings

• Open Chrome on your phone
• Tap the 3 vertical dots (More menu) in the right-side corner
• Tap "Settings"
• Scroll down and tap Site settings
• Tap Camera
• Tap the switch on, or ensure websites are allowed to ask to use your camera. If the specific website you want to use is listed under "Blocked," tap the site name and change it to "Allow."
